True Blood Season 3 premiers June 13th

OK, now that Lost is OVAAAAAAAAAAA, I have to find a way to try to get it out of my head!!! So, I thought I would start a new discussion thread about True Blood, seeing how it is premiering its 3rd seaosn June 13th!!! Very excited about that by the way.

I usually switch back and forth between showtime and HBO in correlation with how the shows are falling. It usually coordinates well, only overlapping by a couple weeks. Right now I am watching The Tudors, Nurse Jackie, and USA of Tara on Show. The first ends June 20th, the other two June 7th. So in relation too True blood, I will have to have both for a couple weeks.

HOWEVER, I am seriously considering biting the bullet and getting HBO now so that I can refresh on Season 2. Not sure I really need to. I mean, I remember the last scene (Bill) MaryAnne is gone, and the rest of Bon Temps is just trying to forget....errrrr......not remember what happened to them.

So what do you think? Should I just recap to get LOST out of my head or what?

Yes with Lost now over I am turning my attention to TB!! I don't have cable so haven't even seen season 2 yet but I just got my dvd's today! Yahoo! I can't wait to settle down with it (of course I won't see season 3 until...next year I guess...sigh...I have read all the books, currently making my way through Dead in the Family).

I did just refresh by rewatching season 1, though!

Enjoy S3! I am so jealous of everyone who will get to watch it starting next month.

I don't have T.V. but I can watch episodes on my computer.

I wish there was a way to pay for just TB from HBO and view it on my computer.

I can't wait!!!! I ordered HBO solely for this show. We bought season 1 on a whim on DVD and loved it, then had to wait 13 months for season 2 to come out. Needless to say, I went out and bought the DVD of season 2 the morning it came out. Just finished watching it, and am so excited for it to start, although I'll have to get used to watching only one show a week, as opposed to buying the whole season and watching it all in 2 days!

Thats how I watched seasons 1, 2, and 3 of LOST. When i got caught up and was able to watch the epis as they aired, it was TORTURE sitting through the commercials!

Yeah, tell me about it! Thankfully, no commercials on true blood but the episodes always end in a cliffhanger, and I won't be able to go to "next episode" !

I watched both seasons OnDemand and I probably would have lost my mind had I needed to wait a week between shows.

TB was my treat, I would leave work early and watch it while I ironned. The laundry was never in such a good state of affairs!

DUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUDE. I am so freaking excited for sunday. Ive been watching The Tudors to kill time. And Jonathon Ryes Meyers is yummy to look at. WEll, not so much anymore, but I digree.

I am just so freaking excited. Alan Ball is a GENIUS. LOVED LOVED LOVED Six Feet Under. Just.freaking.loved.it. And The last two seasons of True Blood have not disapointed, sooooooooooooo, wet your lips and sharpen your fangs, ladies (and gents)

I watched the end of last season's last episode the other day and afterwards, HBO had a several minute preview of the upcoming season.

I saw a couple of commercials on the E channel last night. (I still dont have HBO yet, i think I am going to call right now and get it to brush up a little. There wasnt a DAMN THING on tv for my "LONE HOUR" last night. I watched the awful thing on Natalie Holloway. I would have MUCH rather been watching previous epi's of True Blood.)

ETA, I just got off the phone with Time Warner. The guy I talked to said, this wouldnt be another True Blood fan would it? He must be getting alot of calls this week for people getting HBO back on their service.

Dh and I love True Blood. I'm so sad that we don't have cable or HBO so we have to wait almost a whole year after it's aired to watch it. We watched all of season 2 in less than a week (dh is a teacher and has summers off, so we watch a lot of DVD ) We're talking about renting season 1 again and starting over.

I can't wait either!! I netflixed season 1 on a whim two weeks ago. I wanted to watch it when it first came out but we didn't have HBO at the time. I watched that season in like 2 days and was freaking out about trying to watch season 2 before it started again tonight. Thankfully HBO reran season 2 last week and now I am all caught up!!! So ready for tonight!!!
