Ok, so my cousin told me I should start watching TB back in...August? A longggg time ago. I had the link bookmarked on my computer, but never bothered to watch. Now that I'm out of school for the summer, I am always bored on weekends, so after watching every movie/tv show I could, I decided to start TB. Well, a week later and I'm totally caught up and absolutely obsessed

I saw episode one for the first time around five hours ago, and may have immediately watched it again when it was on HBO2. I'm sure I'll watch it again.

So, random story...I convinced my mom to call and see how much it would cost to add HBO, solely because of TB. She ended up getting all the premium channels AND DVR for an extra $5 a month since we're such great customers. Awesome! My mom loves TB now too. My nanny family loves TB too and calls it "x-rated Twilight." I've been a huge vampire fan forever, so it's nice to see accurately portrayed vampires. My dad started me on classic horror movies when I was all of four, so this sparkly vampire nonsense just doesn't do it for me. TB hits the spot though!

Mmmm. Does it make a total perv that I love the ahem, hot scenes? My mom saw the Bill/Sookie scene in either episode 1 or 2 of season 2 and told me that it was pretty much softcore p*rn and the blood/biting was totally gross...I told her she was a prude, the scenes are awesome. Ha. I have wondered if it's a little awkward for Stephen and Anna, because they're engaged in real life so it's probably odd to be pretty much doing it on set with a bunch of people watching.

Oh, and I know this isn't season three, but in the episode where Jessica and Hoyt DTD, I almost died laughing..."there has to be some kind of surgery for this, I can't be the first virgin vampire!"

I was reading the trash tabloid magazines this week, and one of them did a survey of which True Blood guy had the best butt. Jason won...surprise, surprise. Poor Bill came in last.

You guys keep saying episode 3. Do you mean episode 2? Or do you mean SEASON 3? Or do you really mean episode 3, and episode 2 is just boring filler til we get there?

I honestly am so excited about tonight. Its amazing a TV show can do this to me, its honestly all I can think about come Friday afternoons.

The one werewolf, alchide or whatever, is fareaking HOT. Tall, dark, muscular, and yummy.

I used to think Bill was pretty hot until Eric came along. Jason is cute, but dummer then a stump, so it kinda went backwards for me.

Hey Kayla, are you a californication fan? If not, tell your mom to catch an epi of THAT. As far as soft core porn goes, puts True Blood to SHAME.

ETA It just occurred to me that carrie preston (arlene Fowler) is married to non other them Michael Emerson! Hows that for a very cool crossover from one of my most loving shows to another!?!?!

No, we really mean episode 3! I don't know why they're talking about episode 3 when we haven't even seen 2, but supposedly the scene in episode 3 is pretty crazy.

I would rank them Eric, Bill, and then Jason. I read in real life he is super smart but he does have a dumb look about him. So even if he has a bod that stop traffic his face ruins it for me.

Jason is just like my brother...deep southern accent, not too bright, identical personalities pretty much, so I definitely don't think of him as super hot. Eric is definitely my number one (le sigh) and Bill is second. I find Bill pretty attractive, largely because he's the dark, brooding, nice type.

I've seen Jason in interviews and you would never even know it's the same person. I mean, it's crazy.....of course, he looks the same but mannerisms, accent (the actor is from Australia) everything! For some reason, I'm just not that into Bill..don't know why, maybe it's b/c he's the "nice guy" type. lol

What a good episode! Lots of Eric, just how I like it. And maybe I just wasn't paying close enough attention, but what is this guy's motivation for snagging Bill? I know he said he wants to marry Sophie-Anne and he thinks Bill is fantastic, but did I miss something?

I don't think they said. I'm guessing it'll all play out in the next couple of episodes. The vamp that's looking for Sookie probably has something to do with it. Lots of story lines in this one, I like it! I'm thinking the crazy sex scene next episode will have to do with new vamp and Tara. Or maybe, hopefully, Eric and Sookie?

The vamp looking for Sookie (the one with Tara next week) is the one who found that secret file, right? Was that at Bill's house? I was in and out of the kitchen and thought it was Bill's, but didn't know for sure...

why do they have to change so much from the books? Little stuff like Sam's father isn't a shifter, when we KNOW from the books that he's the only shifter born to his 2 shifter parents. And the brother wtf?
