True Blood Season 3 premiers June 13th - Page 21

All I want to know is what the @#$%#@$@$@%$@% that creepy burnt doll was.

The creepy doll....foreshadowing? will jessica and hoyt somehow conceive a child?

I was kinda put-off by the Jason/Hotshot storyline. I think it makes far less sense than his relationship to Hotshot in the books.

On Facebook, at the beginning of this TB season, I said my one wish for the season was that Tara would hack off those awful extensions - I got my wish!!
Where do you think she's going? New Orleans maybe?

Interested to see what they do with the fae stuff next season. I've only read through Book 8, so I know I'm missing some of the fae storyline from the books.

Ohhh, I hope they conceive a kid. As long as she doesn't have to chew it out of her uterus

The Hotshot thing is totally effed up. I hate it. That was a good storyline in the book, and they're ruining it.

I won't say what happens with the fae in the books, but the show is doing things pretty differently.

Finally got to watch this morning. I was actually feeling kinda down on the show the last couple of episodes. The fae stuff is hokey and I totally agree about some of the acting/lines in this episode - Sookie disposing of Talbot, Alcide and Sookie in Fangtasia, etc. Cheesey. I could hardly stand to look at Russell - hideous for sure!

I am not liking the Jason/Hotshot storyline either. I liked it much better in the books. I was shocked Calvin is dead (if he is).

But what redeemed the show for me was them finally making Bill bad!! LOL I was dancing around about that!

Love Jessica and Hoyt as always and totally creeped out about the doll!

Me too, and I noticed that the silver chain wasn't making him smoke more 90% of the time. The whole burnt look, looked rubbery to me.

I wouldn't say rubbery...but def fake. More like charred paper than skin...or charcoal briquettes.

Coming from a horror fan, I think Russel's look was awesome! I especially enjoyed it when his fang fell out.

Ok, I finally got to watch it last night.

While the Talbot-down-the-drain sort of amuzed me, I did think the particular segment was somehow "off" or didn't fit in along with the tone of the show. Like Sookie's manic laughing. Sure, maybe she is snapping a bit but it felt forced to me.

Hotshot? annoying to me.

At the end, when they were in the cemetary, did anyone else think the one, shirtless guy look like Jason?

What is up with Tara? move along....

I think Mean Sam was showing his abuse-survior gut instincts. Tommie took, via the money bag, his security away from him and he (Sam) snapped.

I spent a great deal of time after the show thinking "if I could have Eric or Alcide, who would I choose......?" Holy Hotness Batman!

O.K. I did not notice that at all, and IMO it makes it all the more creepy. Perhaps it's a sign from Summer?

Someone remind me who summer is...

O.M.G! That totally makes sense that is was summers doll, but I never would have come up with that myself. WHOA.

It says it was Summer's doll in this article:

#5 near the end. I never would have figured it out on my own either!

WTH is a "Summer's doll"?

a curse? voodoo?

a plain 'ol doll left behind from previous tenets?

Nevermind. I just figured it out. SUMMER is the character and it was her doll. I remember now. She makes them/collects them.

very strange to see that in the scene.
