After reading yesterdays news report about how damaging sunscreens can be, I ran out and bought a tube of Badger sunscreen. $16 for 2.9 oz. 
I read the ingredients list and it seems like sunscreen would be pretty easy to make at home by adding zinc oxide or titanium dioxide to my favorite lotion. I found a bunch of recipes on the interweb but most of them contain my daughters allergens so I would rather use lotion we already have and trust.
Anyone here ever make their own sunscreen? Ins and outs, please?
