I use a cast iron grill for these. I put butter or ghee on the grill so I'm not sure what you can use in place of that...I can't remember If you are doing coconut oil or not. As long as the grill is not to hot they don't stick.

Might find some things here? It's grain free but not sure if it's CF.

I like these last two options because you can make a bunch and keep in fridge for an easy heat up and snack

I've decided to focus on putting protein containing grains in my gf baking, and I'm trying to eat more beans.

I can't help much, just wanted to let you know that you are not alone.
Thanks. And congratulations to you too! Something must be in the water.

Butter is fine; dh likes using ghee too. Actually coconut oil is good too - it depends on my mood. I am going to make some of these in the morning.

I know you're unsure about soy but I was reading on this product(not sure what the consensus is around here about body ecology diet tho)the soy is fermented in this but I was reading reviews somewhere on this(can't find it now) and people were loving it. Just a thought

1 banana or more to make really sweet.
3 eggs
1tbs vanilla
1/8 tsp of sea salt

I got this recipe from a thread somewhere but can't remember where. They're really good. You can make a bunch a refrigerate and they're surprisingly filling.
I just made these this morning and they are really good! I used 2 bananas and also added a sprinkle of cinnamon. My older two ate one each and then said they were done, but my youngest (who is usually a very picky eater), ate 5 of them! We did top them with a little pure maple syrup (didn't need much at all). I think I'm going to try a little almond butter (or just almond flour) for a little added protein/healthy fat. Thank you for posting them; they will become a regular for us for breakfast (and may phase out regular pancakes, or reduce our use of the GF pancake flour by at least half!).
