I'm freaking out. Did this hurt the baby? I think it shocked my hand, but I can't remember. I was just so worried about the baby.

So, DH looked it up on-line and I should be ok. I have a midwife appt. on Friday and hopefully we'll hear the heartbeat.

I got shocked by an outlet while pregnant and everything I read and asked said it was fine, and it was.

Cool. I also talked to the ranch manager where I work and he said I should be fine too. After having a miscarriage in January I freak about everything, but it was probably caused by my car accident in December. This is so minor compared to totaling my truck. I just really want to meet this little guy and have another nurser.

congratulations on your pregnancy.
you will be fine. i know we're not the same as cows and goats, but i've seen/heard of those hitting or even getting tangled up in the electric fence while pregnant and being just fine.. never heard tell of any pregnant livestock being affected by electric fencing.. if it won't hurt them (and think about this: if it hurt pregnant livestock, there would be warnings etc everywhere!) it is extremely unlikely that it would hurt you.
i am sorry for your car wreck and loss. it's hard to relax when you're pregnant after a previous loss, i know from experience. i feel like i spent lots of time worrying about everything. it never stops, either, cause now i just worry about the babe all the time.

I have lost many, many babies, so I know where you are coming from. And I have a friend right now going thru this. She lost a baby last year, and is almost to that stage in this new pregnancy and was spotting today. She's so worried, even though she got a nice strong heartbeat just a couple of days ago. Good luck with your pregnancy, and I'm so sorry about your wreck and loss.
