Vinyl-free bandaids?

Many of the bandaids I see in stores say 'Latex free', and I can only assume they are made out of vinyl. Are there any brands that are vinyl free? I try not to buy anything vinyl if I can help it.

When I was a kid, the Elastoplast bandaids were made out of a woven fabric type material, but I bought some for my kids recently and they are the same plasticky material that Bandaid brands are, it seems.

I tried doing a search, and couldn't find anything, so forgive me if the question has already been asked. Thanks!

There are definitely still 'fabric' bandaids (I don't know whether they're totally vinyl-free though). You could also always use your own gauze and paper medical tape, as a way to avoid vinyl.

Hmmm, thanks. I did some checking and found the fabric bandaids too. I emailed johnson and johnson to ask if they contain vinyl and got an email back saying I have to phone them! Um, it's a simple yes or an answer!

Weird, I'd think that's some info they'd have on hand.

Did some checking around during naps today, since this was starting to make me curious and I found this info for some other brand of fabric bandaids - I'd assume they're all pretty similar. Was looking around at this site which seems like it might be hopeful in finding some kind of alternative product that exists.

Ok, and now I found that 3M seems to list a lot more info about what their products contain too. So that might be a good place to look through.
