What can we do to increase sperm counts?

Our donor has low-ish numbers - we got him tested and these were the results (and comments from the lab):

Volume: 1.6 ml, Normal is 2-5 ml
% Motile: 53% Normal is 50% and up
# sperm per ml: 32M/ml Normal is 45-55 M/ml
Total for this ejaculate was 51 Million

Is there anything we can do to increase his counts?

i'd like to know too, actually, if anyone has great ideas. i know a couple of things- they say vitamins, esp zinc, l-arginine, im not sure which other ones, help quite a bit. the only thing is, they can take 2-3 months to work, because i guess it takes 72 days to make a sperm. freq ejaculation is supposed to increase it too, except that, before the critical time, it should be 3-5 days since the last ejac for maximum quanitity.

the other thing- i can not say for sure if this really helps, it's one of those things i know people have their own opinions on, like preseed, but do you know about instead cups? they keep the semen closer up against your cervix so it cant leak out. i think they are great, personally. used them for the first time this month, and im 2ww-ing now, so cant vouch for their effectiveness yet.

I think I read somewhere about maca increasing sperm count, but I'm not 100% sure. It'd be worth looking into though! Good luck.
