Is there someplace where I can plug in my location and some details like how many seats I'm looking for and find out who has cars for my sale in my general area?

http://www.autotrader.com/

In Ontario, you can find the paper-copy of these books in boxes with realestate flyers/books, etc. Not sure what the U.S. site's like.

You can also check your local paper's classifieds online or even kijiji has an auto section.

carmax.com for used is nationwide

if new I would buy from carsdirect.com - We bought 2 new cars thru them 7 years ago and had a stellar experience that no brick/mortar dealer would touch in a major metropolitan area.

Thank you so much! I was able to find about 20 cars within a 100 mile radius.
