Use pot roast broth in bean soup?

We had a pot roast a few nights ago and I saved all the broth that was left after the meat and veggies were gone. I fridged it.

Can I use that broth in a bean soup today? Stupid Q but I'm totally new at this broth thing.

Yes! Definitely use it. It will provide a lot of flavor.

Should I strain it or filter it first? It's cloudy and I can see tiny bits of potato, etc left.

I wouldn't strain it.

I think the straining is purely an aesthetic thing-- strain if you want to, but you don't have to.
