I don't care who knows it, I love SYTYCD. It's my one pop vice and I'll fly that flag. It's pretty. It's shiny. It's some damn good dancers.
Apparently some changes are in the works for this season. After audition week, there will only be 10 contestants rather than the usual 20. Contestants from previous seasons will return and be paired with a different dancer each week. It should be pretty interesting.

I'm ready. Amazing Race is over, Survivor is over, Lost is over. Please I need SYTYCD to ease my pain. I haven't heard of the changes but it sounds interesting!

Awesome! I was just wondering when it would start! I'm not sure if I like the idea of the new format - I guess I'll have to wait and see.

woohoo!!!

i wonder why the change in format? at first blush, i'm not crazy about it but i guess i'll reserve my opinion to see how it pans out.

It seems like it would make for a shorter run...but maybe I'm wrong.

This is the only reason I miss having a TV... (don't pity me too much, and it's not a holier than thou thing, we just don't have a TV. We Hulu and Netflix )

a good friend and I have set up a playdate every week in the coming weeks so I can watch the episodes.

the restructuring sounds interesting.

Am I the only one who can't stand Kat?

I think I read she wasn't going to be a judge this season. Not sure about that though!

I mute the tv everytime Mary Murphy is talking. I can't stand her! I like Kat, for the most part. I'm so excited to have Anya, Dominic, and Lauren back!!

Ooh, I haven't seen the list of returning dancers...off to google.

Oh, It's Twitch (Yay!), Comfort (meh), Courtney (Yay, my all time favorite!), Anya (Yay!) Lauren, Niel, Allison (Don't know, I didn't watch those seasons), Mark (Yay, another of my favorites), Pasha (woo-hoo), Kathryn (neutral), Ade (neutral), and Dominick (don't know him).
I wish they were bringing back Jeanine, Jacob, Joshua, Jeanette and Katee.

I'm so excited about Allison! She should've won season 2! She was hands down the more versatile!! Love Niel and Mark too! I don't like Comfort at all. This should be interesting!!

OMG NEIL! You just made my whole day

I don't think I will like the changes either. I wonder why they are doing that? It's almost like they are copying dancing with the stars...less experienced dancers being paired with more experienced dancers...meh

I wonder if Billy Bell will be on? Remember how he was supposed to be in the top 10 last season and he got mono? I think they said he would automatically be in the top 100??

I really enjoy tonight's dancers. Especially the one heavier girl. I was proud to see her dancing and representing the fluffy girls.

I don't think it will be too much like DWTS though. I mean those "stars" have NO dance experience and they usually stink. They're still only going to pick the best of the best to be in the top 10. The premise might flop but it shouldn't be as bad as DWTS. I can't even watch that show being a fan of SYTYCD. The dances on DWTS just seem so slow and forced after watching the awesome dancers SYTYCD.
