They are looking for a few women who have had unassisted births to weigh in on how they dealt with "complications" during labor? It will only take a few minutes via email or phone.

By "complications" what is meant here is easily resolved minor issues.

Just clarifying. Thanks!

Cord over shoulder and around belly

In July of 2008, I gave birth to my youngest daughter via . During my pushing time, I could feel her progressing down the birth canal, then being pulled back up every time. In order to find a way to get her all the way down, I let a couple of hard contractions do their work without getting in the way. In other words, I stopped pushing for a few minutes. This not only moved her down more, but also gave me a minute to catch my breath. When I was ready I got on my knees and used my next good contraction to the best of my ability. She pushed all the way down in that one instant. She crowned, we waited for another contraction and I let it push her head out. Once her whole body slipped out, we just left her under water while I gently unwrapped her with a little help from my support team Although not a major obstacle it was quite frustrating when I was pushing and she wouldn't get where she was supposed to I hope this helps!

I had several "complications" I'd love to share. I'll e-mail now.
