water shoes for tiny feet

Does anyone know where I can get DD some shoes that we don't mind getting wet. She is 14 months old, but wears a 6-12 month shoe. I don't think she is ready for crocs.

Here in Canada (not sure where you are), there is a line of clothing sold at some grocery stores called 'Joe'. And they have water shoes that start at a toddler size 6. Probably too big for your lo, even my 16 month old is barely into a size 5. I would love to find some for him!

Try oldnavy.com and Babies R Us. Last year I think we got DD's from Babies R Us. They were the only store that sold a smaller size. Oh, also try One Step Ahead.

The Children's Place starts their shoes at size 3, I'm not sure where that compares to a 6-12 month shoe...but they have water shoes usually. Also fake 'crocs'.

Target. They have toddler sized water socks, and if those are too big they have a bunch water-friendly sandals that strap on, not slip on like a croc.
like this
or this
and there are water socks for tiny feet
or bigger water shoes

DD is 23 months old and wears a size 5 shoe (which I think corresponds to 6-12 months.) We bought the Old Navy water shoes in size 5 and they fit pretty well. In fact,we took them for a test walk on the beach today and they were awesome! DD wore them quite a bit in the ocean and seemed quite comfortable. I would advise you to resist the urge to size up to a 6 in this shoe since they run a little big. I originally bought the 6 thinking they'd provide a bit of room to grow and they flopped right off her tiny feet.

That said, if money wasn't an object, I'd buy the $30 Hanna Andersson water socks. Those look like they'd fit well and feel really great in the water.

How about Keens? They come in super small sizes, IIRC.

We just use Saltwater Sandals and have since DD was about 14 months.

Another vote for Keens. I love them, even with the unfortunate price. I try to buy gender neutral.
