Managed to reach my cervix today. Totally posterior but a good 3cm dilated ( I can easily fit two fingers in with room to spare )and about 50% effaced and stretchy.

I wish I could reach mine. *sigh*

NP said this afternoon that mine is "closed and thick, but very soft". GRRRRR

okm, I seriously feel like an idiot or something! I can't find mine!!! But my MW, at 37 weeks, said it was "right there", 2cm, 75% effaced, really really soft and stretchy. So WHY can I not find it??? Everything just feels soft and squishy in there It does feel different than when not pregnant, but I can't find anything that seems to obviously be my cervix.....maybe I need an illustrated guide or something.

I can't reach mine even when I'm not hugely pregnant, there's no way I can reach it now! I tried earlier today but no luck.

I'm still closed (a wee bit soft maybe) according to my doctor. I've tried to check mine but can't reach.

I'm pretty sure that mine retracts when being checked because I hate it. So take it with a grain of salt...you may well be more dilated than your hcp feels.

That being said, baby was pretty low a couple weeks ago but now he's floating again, so my cervix is wayyy posterior and os unreachable.
