could you walk me through this from their HOME page? I'd like to be able to find it this way if it's possible. does that make sense? I've had a DR yell at me before and say, "look up the death rate for that in our area" (which it was for pertussis so umm yea)--- and I'd love to say-okay lets look it up--do you know how? well I'll show you the cdc's OWN numbers. (and for my own information too!) THANKS

I think it's pretty hidden from the home page.

Just add a /mmwr and it should get you there

Its actually in the appendix of the CDC Pink Book

http://www.cdc.gov/vaccines/pubs/pinkbook/default.htm

Click on the link above, then scroll down to the link that says "Go to a list of appendix files" and click on that link. Click on "Appendix G: Data & Statistics", then click on the first link "Reported Cases & Deaths..."

But if you're looking for your specific region, you'd likely be able to find it on your state's health department website.

From that page, click on weekly report on the nav bar on the left

The first entry will be the current volume, at the bottom of that entry is a link to download the full PDF
