We didn't bathe dd2 until day 3 i think. All that vernix is good for their skin.

Mine was a planned home birth and I ended up transferring to the hospital, but the nurses were great and put a big note on her bassinet "NO BATH". I went home 12 hours later and gave her a bath myself that evening.

My homebirthed baby was a couple of days old before he had a bath.
