What would you do at night?

I'm back to cloth diapering after a break. We used fuzzi bunz with our older boys for 4 years, but we sold everything last year. I just bought some new cloth diapers, this time 3 Flip diapers with the organic cotton prefolds along with some additional Bummi's prefolds.

I'm guessing these will all be fine for the day, but I'm not sure if they will work for our 19 pound, 18 month old toddler. Any thoughts on what to do at night?

What would you add to this to be able to go 2 days at a time? I'm thinking I probably need to add a few nighttime diapers, maybe one more cover and a few more prefolds or fitted diapers?

I'll wash every other day, but want a few extras in case.

Also, any suggestions on laundering cotton or other natural fiber diapers? I was good at the fuzzi bunz with fleece/microfiber, but this is new to me.

My DD uses cloth dipes at night only(she's almost 3). I use FB or other dipes. I just put 1 or 2 additional inserts into the diaper. This helps if she's had a lot of fluids prior to bedtime in additional to breastmilk. Could you just add an extra insert or 2? I know others will have ideas but just wanted to share our nighttime routine which really works well.

I always just used fuzzi bunz and stuffed those diapers full. A bunch of inserts (usually a mix of both hemp and cotton inserts). Or a mix of a folded prefold some inserts. This did work much better on my daughter over the years than it did my heavy wetting son. I'd usually change him once a night (even in sposies, so we just stuck with cloth). Which to me was very tolerable, but might not be for other folk who want more sleep.

I washed all my cloth diapers the same. So whatever you did for your fb should work for everything else (well except for wool, which I know nothing about).

I use a pocket with a hemp insert at night.
