We have a baby!! Dealyn Gloria Mei was born Saturday morning at 9:12am. She weighs in at 9lbs 13oz 21 inches long!
My doula came over gave Miss D her eviction cocktail and by 7 that night I was in labor!! I was a 7cm by the time I got to the hospital. After that is much a blur. I got to 9cm and was stuck there forever!! I was begging for an epidural and they kept telling me there was no time--BS! I was there for almost 2hrs (im sure of it) But alas I was stuck and Ds heart beat was decelerating in between contractions. They tried everything to get her heart beat to come steady. Shoot I felt like pancake being flipped on the griddle. So I got my epidural and off to my c-section I went. Boy was I exhausted!! I slept through most of my c-section with the yummy drugs on board. And was awake long enough to hear her cry then back to sleep I went until they had her cleaned off. I dont feel bad about not having my VBAC I got mostly there. Come to find out the cord was wrapped around her body so she wouldnt have gone anywhere anyway.
The funniest thing I remember was while I was in labor I kept saying I didn want to be one of those screaming ladies-lmao. Ben said I was delirious most of the time and got even more comical when they gave me my epi.
Shes such a good baby. Im in love!! My family is complete
