When I tweak a picture.
I just upload it to a program such as photoshop, or you can use free online picture editing website and just play around with it basically
Zoom in/out
Change the colour / invert it
change the saturation
remove blemishes
cut/crop it
Grab colour from it
Just do what you think will bring the line out or try and pull pink/grey out of the line.
Heres a website I use online

Thanks everyone. I played around a bit with my pic in Photoshop and in Picasa (uh, which is amazing and I LOVE it, thanks FM). You can just barely see anything after tweaking and saturating, so I'm going to stay optimistic about testing again tomorrow with a FRER. I'm 12 DPO today, (after more fiddling with my temp-free chart) and AF is due Saturday. So that line will either darken, or I will surf the red tide.

Right on Finnegansmama! You're testing tomorrow, right? I guess whoever reports a solid positive first better be sending the other some sticky baby dust!

I think I will test tomorrow (or maybe in like 10 minutes). I'll probably buy a three pack of FRERs tonight to get me through the weekend. Though, if I don't see much tomorrow I might try to out wait AF. I'm going to make the weekend REALLY busy so that I don't continue to obsess about it.
My first pregnancy was a complete surprise, so once I tested I was already barfing up a storm from the morning sickness. It was a dark positive and this time around my obsessive ways are really getting the best of me. Not to mention DH telling me constantly about his 'feeling' that I'm pregnant, and my best friend calling to tell me about her dream that she had the other night about me 'taking over' a pregnancy for her.
What's a FMU? I've almost got all of the acronyms down...

FMU = first morning urine. It's supposed to be the most concentrated, which is helpful for those who test at 12 hour past ovulation (not mentioning any names but....me, LOL).
I try so hard not to get obsessed. CD2 I'm usually so serene and calm and then 10 DPO comes and I'm a trainwreck.

I had NO IDEA I wasn't the only one to Photoshop HPT test sticks to bring out the line! HAHAHA! I have to tell DH in the morning, so he knows I'm not the only OCD POASer out there. Thanks ladies!
BTW, I tweak by cropping the image to just the test strip, the white and line areas. No background. Color correct if needed, invert color, and increase contrast.
