Oh My, my mom,aunt,grandma,cousins,and I are all having our annual yard sale in about a week and I am so unorganized this time

I have so much clutter Its not even funny. I have got everything I wanna sell in boxes and bags but I keep putting off pricing it all

I HAVE to get this done this weekend but whats bad is I have a 3 yr old and a 9 month old that likes to pull it all back out and tear the bags open lol.

Anyways I am just saying this to have a little encourgement or ownership haha.

BTW there is like 15 large garbage bags full and 5 or so boxes

You can do it Mama...just do one bag in the morning and one at night. Keep the pricing simple. Or even use color dot stickers to price...all the pink would be $1, green is $5...easy peasy.

I did one with my son being 2...he was into everything. I just put the child gate up between the house and garage and he could watch me but not escape.

I agree with simplicity. We had our g-sale a few weeks ago and ALL of our clothes were a quarter. It made it much easier

Unfortunatly I have to price each thing with my name because their are 5 others in the same sale.

Also I gotta keep everything in the house which is 1000sqft with hardly any closet room lol.

I just wanna get it done and over with. But I am horrible about putting things off.

How about a second sticker for each item that identifies it as yours? E.g. gold star.

I am preparing for a yard sale this weekend too. I have some stuff in the basement, some stuff in the spare room upstairs, some in the living room. It's a mess. I've never done a big yard sale before. I have a 5 year-old and an 8 month old. I am hoping the baby will hang out in some type of carrier/sling most of the day, but I am going to be so sore. We'll have to keep each other motivated this weekend.

Or you guys could each use a different color sticker so you don't have to write your name. When I priced I took sheets of stickers and just wrote out a bunch of 25 cent ones, 50 cent ones, etc. so when it came to pricing I just quickly threw on the right sticker.

Good luck! I was never any good with yard sales, maybe I priced things too high or it simply wasn't enough stuff. It'll probably help a lot that you are a team of sellers!
