UPDATE: Tuesday AM....well back on the crazy train I guess. Here are some pics....The first of my FRER yesterday mid morning and today with FMU. This mornings is lighter for sure.

i guess we'll see how this all plays out. i thought/hoped they would be darker considering i am mostly likely 5-6 days late if we go on my positive OPKs back on day 15 16.

my body is playing tricks on me this month. i am either preggo or not so take your wager on what is going on w. me....!

just got my AF back when my little dude was around 20mo..so about 5 months ago. i have not been charting or trying but using OPKs (cheapy sticks from walgreens) to get an idea of when i am o'ing. the one things i noticed clearly was that from my very first positive OPK (they were pos for 2-3 days w the cheapies)...I would get AF exactly 2 weeks later. Like clockwork for 5 months. So we decided to wing it this month.

Positive OPK (cheapies) on all of day 15 and 16. negative (expensive stick kind) from day 16 (late PM) through the next 4 or 5 days. DTD days 15 16 17.
lots of cramping day 23-24....definitely thinking preggo...but..

...impatient me...took a answer the morning of day 26 (8-9-10 DPO who knows?) BFN

but of course, expecting my period on day 29 as in last couple months....here we are, about to roll into day 33. No sign of AF. Preggo or wacky body? I have no symptoms but I never do when early pregnant. this would be our 3rd

I just need a test but thought i would throw this out there for opinions

I had snow white negative FRER at 10dpo and a veeeeery faint positive FRER at 13dpo... and Im sneaking up on the third trimester now!

yes, no other tests....

when i was trying to get pregnant w. my first child, i took some many tests and saw wayyyy too many BFN...(it took us 9mo + to get preg w her). so i branched out last week by testing early...

who knows??

Thought I would bump this and post an update..

crazy times over here. So this past friday, i was on day 33. no sign of af. now i'm thinking she's anywhere from 2-4 days late based on my positive OPKs which were on day 15 and 16 with walgreen cheapies. i have been using them for a couple months....

so FMU that morning... BFN... (i used a frer)

i was really thinking i was knocked up and so resigned myself to getting AF over this holiday weekend....

i planned to see my Naturopath doc this week if AF didn't come. I'm googling all the possible reasons for a missed period (brain tumor, ectopic, cyst, etc). Surprisingly, I had JUST had my yearly bloodworkup with her/thyroid check....all was great...

so.....well here we are monday....for the past week, i have had minor af twinges, etc in my lower uterus, lots of creamy cm... i'm like..."get it over with already"! its 11am here i just ran inside from playing outside w. the kiddies and i'm like...."i can't hold out waiting any longer!!!!...(i was going to give it another week to test again...)

i'm almost a week late, its a light BFP but it is there....

do you think i have any reason to freak out i didn't get it until late? or that it's faint with SMU being anywhere from 5-7 days past when AF was due???

the FMU i used from last Friday, whether this matters or not, had sat out a couple hours in a lunch size tupperware w. a lid. in a drawer of my bathroom....its been warm around here as well. maybe that doesn't matter?

i need to be more zen about this, but it sure has been a rollercoaster

because you werent charting, its likely you Oed a lot later than normal. The only way to be sure is to get an early ultrasound, but I feel like if you go by your LMP you are going to end up being induced for going overdue with a baby who is not due yet.

no, nada on dtd since day 17...

also, i had obvious low cramping/twinging on day 23 24....and i have had that same implantation feeling w other babes and m/c's....

i guess i'm just going to have faith everything will turn out as it is meant to be. and i hope dearly that its a baby and not heartbreak

I do know someone that got pregnant from DTD 8 days before O... so let's say you geared up to O around the 16th/17th, and then didn't but then Oed around the 23 /24 when you had that cramping - it's within the realm of possibility to get pregnant (though not very common!) from DTD 5-7 days before you Oed. That would put you at 12dpo when you got the positive... I think that is probably the most likely happenstance here.

and that would mean theres NO worries over lines showing up late or anything.

I do highly suggest the early ultrasound to confirm though because if you go with what you think is O day but it didnt happen until a week later... your due date will be a whole week off and that can cause problems later on

at 13 weeks, no heartbeat on doppler could be simply due to being 1 week off on your dates, at 24 weeks if something goes wrong, 1 week can make a difference between them delivering or not, at 36 weeks if you go into labor, 1 week makes a difference between trying to stop the labor and just letting baby come. at 42 weeks, 1 week makes a difference between forcing you to be induced and saying... oh its still a bit early...

yes, looks like an early ultrasound is in the cards. especially w. my m.c history, if i expect to (mentally) survive the next 10 weeks or so

so i guess it will either turn out to be:
1. funky test due to the stored urine
2. later O than thought

it's a nice positive for mid-day not a squinter... i'll try to post a pic. which reminds of me of something funny. when i took that frer on friday, i was standing over it watching. so you see the pink start to run from Left to Right. well i was sure that as it passed the pregnant line it started to form a line. i remember clearly seeing that!!! STRANGE i got wicked excited and ran out of the bathroom as one of the kiddos was hollering or something crazy ...but when i went back it it was pretty darn negative. makes me wonder......

babymoonbeam- with my last preg I din't get a positive til 18-19 dpo. And it was only by blood and very low numbers. With my first I never got one. Ever. Took one at 5 months and it was neg! Congrats! I hope it sticks and you have a happy healthy 9 months!!!!
