Pain around incision during early pregnancy?

Has anyone else experienced this? Does this mean that my incision has not healed all the way yet?

I had that and my midwife said it was just the scar tissue breaking down. She said it was actually a good thing.

IME it's scar tissue. I only had it with my first post c/s pregnancy. Massage might help break it up. Pain in that area, some feel, is also associated with emotions about that birth.

Yep, it's just adhesions (scar tissue). I had some pretty bad pains with my first pregnancy after my C/S, I read somewhere to gently massage with oil in small circles to help break it up and it felt SO MUCH BETTER right away.

FWIW with my 3rd pregnancy I never had any of these pains.

I remember having it too. That is what I heard, it was the scar tissue. I had a successful VBAC.

Yep yep. No, your incision should be healed just fine. Massage does the trick!
