if you wear your LO for naps, do they have a nap schedule?

i didnt know if i should post this here or in family bed. but, as the title says, for those of you who wear your baby while the baby naps, do you keep to any sort of nap schedule? i wear my DS for about half of his naps. he is not really on any kind of schedule, i basically help him sleep when he's tired but dont force him to sleep if he's not. some days he takes just 2 longer naps, other days he takes one long nap and several short ones. it works for us now, but am i going to be kicking myself later for not scheduling his naps? i feel like naps while babywearing give me a lot of freedom to not have to stick to a schedule.

Some babies need more of a schedule and some don't. I would just go with the flow until it's not working for you anymore! It is easy enough to put your LO on a a schedule when they are older, so I don't think you'll be kicking yourself later. Just my opinion! Good luck!

What Carrruth said!

My little one is 10 months and I wear her for all her naps. Her normal routine is to have a smaller nap after breakfast (around 9) and then a longer nap sometime in the mid-afternoon. Some days she throws a third nap in. A couple of times she's only napped once. The big thing is that it works for us and she's happy and rested, and wearing her gives me the freedom to carry on with "normal" life with the big kids.
