Is it too weird for sibling names to rhyme? - Page 2

I don't think they sound too much alike.

When looking for girl name ideas for the babe I am currently pregnant with, Dh and I both loved Rayne/Raine.

I kept saying, "Rayne -our last name-" sounds SO familiar...

Finally it hit me: Our DS' name is Cain.

DH said he'd be perfectly happy with rhyming names.
I just can't do it.

I think the names you have chosen are beautiful and don't sound too much alike to be confusing or annoyingly cutesy.

we have an Auden, and in my belly is likely an Adeline. Auden refers to himself as "Audie" and Adeline will likely be shortened to Addy. My husband's name also begins with the same vowel sound! that said, Auden is the perfect name for our son, and we're really stuck on Adeline for our girl. i like them together, so it's okay for us. it depends on how they settle with you.

Thanks for the input everyone. We don't discuss names with family or friends IRL so it helps to get some opinions here. I appreciate it!!! We will probably go with Gianna and let the nn form organically, or not use a nn at all.
