Primal Blueprint Cookbook

Anyone else madly in love with the Primal Blueprint Cookbook? I've made about a dozen recipes so far and am just over the moon. I adore it. I love that dairy is optional and that everything is so easy. This is hands down my favorite grain free traditional foods cookbook-a must have for any kitchen.

I received my copy a few days ago and haven't had a moment to crack it--need to move that up the priority list!

I've not gotten mine in the mail yet (I pre-orderd a bit ago, but I am on the East coast so maybe it's taking longer) but I am SO THRILLED to hear that the dairy is optional and that you LOVE it PB!!! My fave cookbook has been _The Garden of Eating_ b/4 now, and I'm WAY excited that I might have a new fave!!!!

I want this! I LOVE Mark's blog & forum - everything is SO simple - which is what I say to people when they ask about our Paleo-ish diet. Maybe this will be a good gift book for people who think cooking is hard.

You can get it w/ free shipping and handling and a free poster directly from Mark here: http://www.primalnutrition.com/prima...book-i-36.html I don't think it is shipping from amazon yet...

Seriously, esp. after eating TF grain/legume heavy--cooking primal/paleo style is a breeze! Esp. if you skip the baked (nut or coconut flour etc) goods. What is easier than meat and veggies, and cutting up some fresh fruit? Mmmmmm...

Great to hear! I was just on the website yesterday looking to add a few hot weather recipes to my repertoire and I was happy to have found quite a lot of new recipes so I will be very interested to check out the cookbook. Is it very egg heavy? We still can't do eggs (or at least not from soy fed chickens).

So, is it not releasing on amazon until July 15?!?!? I totally cannot justify the cost otherwise, but I have an amazon gift card for $25.... Maaaannnnn....

Is there a list of the recipes titles somewhere? Table of contents? I love cookbooks, but I don't want to buy it unless I know I don't have the majority of the recipes.

Also, what are some of your favorites???

Bump!

Bumping this thread to see if anyone else has purchased the Primal Blueprint cookbook?
http://www.amazon.com/Primal-Bluepri...=1RVDC79E0XM5B

I have been following the Primal Blueprint website for the past year, and I really like it! I keep going back and forth about getting the cookbook, though. I got his other book (the non-cookbook) and it was just ok. i wish I'd gotten it at the library instead of buying it; it was mostly info I already knew. I'm worried that the cookbook will be the same.

I also noticed that there are not a ton of recipes, only a little over 100, and a chunk of those are dressings and such. Do you find that there is enough variety to keep things interesting?
Any more "reviews" for me before I take the $20 plunge?
