Headed to L&D for an evaluatuation Updated post # 13, 17, 23

I have consistently measured 1 week ahead since 20 weeks...till 1.5 weeks ago when I measured 4 weeks ahead. I am scheduled for an ultrasound one week from today to check why.
Sunday and Monday I was really uncomfortable and measured several times again and kept coming up with 36cm. I have been having increasing bh type ctx over the past 2 weeks to the point that if I am on my feet at all they are 2-3 minutes apart. My back is really achy, but still I was going to wait it out for my US next week.
Today's measurement, 38cm! my back HURTS and my whole belly/uterus/skin/muscles ache like I have the flu, lots of ctx, and short of breath. So I called the nurse hoping to be told it was fine and just to take it even easier.....
Anyhow we are going to the hospital for a lovely and relaxing evening...
I would appreciate prayers, we lost 2 babies last year in the second trimester and I have not managed to shake the feeling of waiting for the other shoe to drop this time. I just really really want a 'keeper' baby and hope he has no long term health issues (for his own sake, I can't stand the thought of him needing multiple major surgeries.)

Oh, I can so empathize with this feeling. I'll pray that it goes well this evening, that you'll be reassured that you DO have a keeper baby, and that Baby will come at the very best time.

Fluid is actually well in range,
Our baby boy is chubby and cute, my uterus DOES measure 38 by their measuring tape too (though there is no explanation as to why, and I have NEVER measured big before this pregnancy)
They did a Ffn test, still waiting on results,
Contractions DO seem to be making notable change over the course of my visit (but not so much that they wanted to keep me in a BUSY L&D tonight. So for now I get to sleep in my own bed Very tired!

Once more with feeling...

Spoke to the dr on the phone for my test results...She said "I would not have let you go home last night." Wants me back for an hour or two of monitering and to check dilation again. So, back we go.
Apparently grand multips who've never taken the big gun pain drugs are not to be trusted.
