Intestinal cramps when switching to tf diet?

Has anyone else experienced this? My family is doing fine, but its tearing me up. Will it eventually go away or is this diet not for me?

I definitely didn't feel so great at first after eating meals really rich in coconut oil and broth. After a while, I felt great afterwards. I think it took me a little while to get used to it.

It might be the richness if you are all of a sudden eating a lot more fat. Maybe backing down on the fat consumption and increasing it again slowly?

I agree. My husband had trouble with the switch, then after settling in...he had the same trouble whenever we'd eat out (SAD food). I think his stomach was just more sensitive to change. Hang in there,

What are the specific changes you've made?

Is it possible you're consuming a lot more dairy than you used to? Dairy doesn't agree with some of us, and although raw seems to work for some when pasteurized didn't, for others, even raw is a no-go.

As for things like fat content--what's best for any given individual seems to vary within a wide range, it's a good place to experiment.
