I'm looking for some new shoes for DS, who is almost 2 1/2. He's been wearing Pedipeds, but they aren't wide enough now that we are getting into bigger sizes. I'm looking for something with a flexible sole that comes in WIDE. I have a pair of hand-me-down stride rites in wide that aren't wide enough. Any suggestions???

I haven't purchased from them myself, but I've seen them mentioned before on Mothering. You may want to check out Preschoolians. GL!

Great Shoes
We LOVE Livie and Luca's!!! They are flexible, wide AND durable (not to mention adorable). Although thay are a little pricey, I find that in the end they are a totally worthwhile investment. Check out the site: http://www.livieandluca.com/

See Kia Run and Preschoolians are not wide enough for us. We get xw or 2xw from Stride right depending on the shoe. I recommend you get measured I have 2 pair I had to return ( one SKR and on Prescoolian) because they just arent wide enough. My kids feed look square till they are about 4 then they get some what normal looking

Soft star shoes will make shoes as wide as you need and have very flexible soles. they have sizing info on their websitre, but you can send in you kid's measurements and they will custom make them for you. and you can even design your own colour combos and whatnot. We've had a couple pairs and they hold up very very well (compared to SKR at least).

tsukihoshi shoes
This is a japanese shoe company that I believe is modeling themselves after Stride-Rite. But, they are way cuter IMO.
I bought a pair from Shoes.com/tsukihoshi
They are awesome. Reviews said they were quite wide for those concerned. I don't think DD's feet are that wide, so I really can't comment. But, they are so cute and well-made. And, they are flexible.
