Neuro written

I have a binder of all my sons medical reports and other information and contacts. I bring with me almost like a portfolio.

We saw the neuro 10 weeks ago and I called 3 times to get the written report and the secretary keeps saying the transcriptionist is backed up (10 WEEKS???!!!??? and counting)

How long do they have to get you a written report? or have it completed?

That's an interesting question. I wonder if the Patient Bill of Rights addresses that? Ten weeks does sound like a really long time to be backed up. I think I would get a little stronger in my request, AND I would e-mail and snail mail the doc directly. Include, if you have the info, the dates on which you called. I'm guessing your report is buried.

Ugh, sorry that's happening. So frustrating .

I have never gotten a written report from Neurology, and we have seen them 3 times. I did not realize they were all supposed to send a written report.
