huggies now makes a disposable denim diaper??

I dont understand, is this a disposable denim diaper? Talk about wasteful, why not just use a cloth cover over a regular sposie?

they just look like denim. my sister was travelling and picked up a pack, she said they were horrible, the tabs didn't stick and the diapers kept falling off.

that is funny! they do look weird IMO. I first saw them on the Ellen show on her Mother's Day show. Many had lobbied for her to give away a cloth diaper package like gdiapers but Huggies came across with too much money I guess. I wrote to her show of course. It's just a regular diaper but printed like denim on the outside. I haven't used them so I can't speak for that, but I have seen one in person and it didn't seem any different from a 'regular' Huggies diaper.

I think they picked a good time of year to bring them out. I know that during the summer my dd often wears just a t-shirt and diaper, so you would actually be able to see the denim pattern in that case. I don't think these would sell as well in the winter, because what would be the point?

Huh, weird. I don't think I'd want that dye anywhere near my baby. I mean, when I buy clothing or cloth dipes in a dark color, I wash the heck out of them before he ever wears them. It looks to me like Huggies has found a way to make sposies even worse for the environment.
