Moms with Boys

DH and I decided not to circumcise our DS who is almost 7 months. I remember reading not to fool with the foreskin so I don't do anything but clean him when changing and just use water when bathing that area. He however, has a red spot on the tip and at the top of his sack where the tip rests and I'm wondering what I should do, if anything. Anyone else had this experience? TIA!

My DS get a little read underneath where his penis rest on his sack, when that happens I usually put a little ointment on it, like A&D or something.

My guy gets that occasionally - usually from being left wet/dirty. If I'm careful to change him as soon as he pees, and air dry him between dipes, it'll usually go away in half a day or so.

I agree, give him some naked time and put some ointment on it at diaper changes. it's probably just irritation from being wet/dirty or from rubbing on the diaper.

I agree with what other have said- sounds normal. A little naked time and diaper cream (we love EMAB). I usually just ask DH when there is something going on with the boy parts because chances are he's experienced something similar.

Thanks everyone! I did actually ask my DH but he didn't seem to know either but I do have to get better at giving DS more naked time - he loves naked time I just don't make time for it Thanks again!
