what to do about hornworms? eat them

killed a gigantic one today and was wondering how to control them, other than by handpicking. saw something that said to sprinkle cornmeal around the plants. googled again to try to verify this and found this recipe:

i bet they do taste like tomatoes but i doubt i will try this. makes sense, tho!
