Someone please tell me I'm not the only person who still watches this show rather frequently.

I have the DVD set.

I just got my season two and three back from a friend and several disks are broken and scratched

I saw the new movie on Friday and I'm glad I had a few Cosmos before going. If it had been any other movie I would have walked out and demanded a refund.

Yeah, I saw in last night and if it weren't for my love of the show and the characters, I'd have done the same! Waaaaay too long, I almost fell asleep!

Wow. The movie was that bad, eh? It looks like it's not so great of a movie but since I am ahuge fan I am going to see it anyway this weekend. Would you please tell me whether or not Smith and Samantha end up together?

I have not seen the new movie, but liked the show a lot and the last movie was ok, I guess.

No. He's only in the movie for about 2 minutes, if that. The movie wasn't THAT bad, but only b/c I'm such a fan. If I weren't already invested in all the characters, it would not have been watchable.

Thanks. I'm so bummed. I really wanted them to get back together. I was really unhappy with Samantha's storyline in the first movie and was hoping they would fix things to my liking this time around. I can't wait to see it on Saturday. I don't thnk it looks like a great movie from the previews but I still want to see it.

My husband thinks I'm nuts for watching the show on tv even though I own the box set.

I have the entire series on DVD and still watch it on TV, too. I catch it usually at least once a day. If I have nothing to do Saturday nights, I usually watch the marathon they play on Cosmo TV (or, some of it, anyway; they play, like, 5 or 6 hours every Saturday night).

I haven't seen the second movie yet (going this weekend), but I loved the first. Sucks to hear that the second was underwhelming.

I've told DH I'm not the only one. HBO on Demand has been showing Season 6and it's part of our cable package so I've been watching the Petroksvy episodes this week.

Me too!

DH and I were die-hard fans when it was on HBO prime time and I will still watch the older episodes when I am ironing or awake in the middle of the night.

Then my BFF got into it and we saw the 1st movie together. I happen to be a HUGE Big fan and cursed outloud during the movie.

Based on what I have read so far (not just on MDC) I fear I will be terribly dissapointed by the 2nd movie.

If you loved the show, you'll like the movie. I just feel like they could have done more with the movie, you know?

I have the boxed set and still watch them all the time!

I saw the second movie tonight. I actually really enjoyed it. It was much funnier than either the show or the first film. But, I definitely agree they could have done more with it. I enjoyed it, but it could have been better. I didn't feel it was too long. It felt shorter than the first; though, according to IMDB, they are the same length (off by 1 minute).

i really liked the movie! i liked more then the first, aside from the 1st 15-20 mins...

i liked that it was focused on the girls and not so much on the "outside" plots.

i love, love, love the show! i own them all on DVD and still watch them over and over again.. i know i am lame

I liked it, much much more than movie #1.

I'm a HUGE fan of the show STILL and feel obligated to watch it anytime I see that it's on t.v..lol. DH even watches it with me and actually likes it.
Haven't seen the 2nd movie yet but wasn't too impressed with the commercials about it. Now, i've heard both good and bad reviews but i'm not one to go off what other people think (especially movie critics) so I will see it eventually. Just not too motivated into going to see it at the movies. I did like the first movie though, I just hated the whole wedding scene. It made me super sad..lol! Other than that I loved it.

I saw the movie over the weekend and liked it much better than the first. I do think there were about 20 minutes in Abu Dabi that were silly and should have been edited out. It was nice seeing Miranda grow as a person. I found one issue in the movie very irritating though...If you haven't seen it and don't know want a spoiler please don't read below.

I had a very hard time believing Samantha, as sex happy as she is would risk a possible major client because she wanted to have sex so badly. She's a successful business woman whose traveled the world but couldn't maintain a modicum of respectability in what's a very conservative place? I think they did a major disservice to her character. She also looked awful. It looked like she had white theatrical makeup on her face the entire time. I'm ready for sex and the city 3 where Samantha decides she wants to settle down with Smith. LOL

I think I am the only peson in the world (okay, maybe not the world, but ykwim) who NEVER watched the series. I had never seen it.

I saw the first movie on HBO a few weeks ago and really liked it, then I saw the second movie when it first came out and thought it was pretty good, now I am watching the series on Netflix (just watched disc 1, eps 1-6 today) and I am really liking it so far. I think the characters are really honest and relatable.

That's kinda cool you've never seen it, now you have something new to watch...the show gets better as the seasons go on, also.
