kefir bath

I had to let some of my milk kefir go for 10 days while I was out of town. I put it in the fridge but it still got really cultured. It was very separated and too sour for my tastes, though not bad tasting at all. Anyway, I put it in a bath with some epsom salt and my skin feels SO smooth right now! It was wonderful. I got the idea off the kefir thread (which I can't find) so I just wanted to share

Ooohh, that sounds nice. We have a ton of extra kefir right now and I was wondering how we were going to consume it all! Thanks for the great idea.

I've always wondered if a kefir bath would be good for healing the skin, like from excema, sunburn, bug bites, poison ivy or whatnot. Sounds like you had a lovely "spa" bath.
