Glass or silicone baby bottles?

I need to replace the bottles that I used for my first baby due to the BPA in them... I was looking into the glass bottles as I am having a hard time convincing myself to buy more plastic. I went to the natural parenting store and they told me about the Innobaby silicone bottles and said people
really like them. She said they are made of surgical grade silicone and
the nipples are shaped more like "real" nipples, they're stretchy and have 5 different stages, so they are supposed to be good for breastfed babies. http://www.innobaby.com/Nursin-SMART-5-oz-Silicone-Bottle_p_103.html We plan to mostly breastfeed but I still want a few bottles on hand in case we need them. Does anyone have experience with either the glass or the silicone bottles?
Thanks!

We use glass - Dr. Brown's, Evenflo and Munchkin. These are all standard size bottles and use standard nipples. We love them! and they fit on my Medela PISA no problem, so I can pump right into them if need be. and they aren't that expensive.

The silicone ones looked neat, but I decided to stick with glass. Oh and as for baby taking it, DS had bottles of pumped milk very early - like around 2 weeks (but he also had a paci since day 2) and has never had any trouble going from one to the other.

I battled the same issue when I had to choose too. I chose to buy the cheap glass Evenflos. I thought that if they didn't work for my daughter that I would then spend the money for the more expensive ones. I only needed to buy two packs of 3 bottles since DD needed two for day care and then there were spares for the next day. Luckily she took to that bottle and we never had any issues switching back and forth. She never gets a bottle anywhere but daycare. In fact the one time a bottle came home that a use it or dump it bottle, I tried to feed it to her and she refused it. She wanted to nurse.

We use glass bottles for when I'm at work. My husband likes them because he feels that they hold heat better than the plastic bottles. I like the ones with the rubber skins on them so they won't slip out of your hand easily.

We went with the glass Born Free bottle system. You can buy an adapter to make it fit onto the pump if you want to pump directly into the bottles, but most people I know pump into bags.

I use Dr. Browns wide neck silicone. I had looked at glass but my husband was against it because they were heavy and could break. I like the silicone, no problems at all!

we use glass-- cheapy evenflo's we love them. they have silicone covers, but I don't understand how you would use them for breast milk-- they have to be put on *before* you screw on a top.

you might look at other silicone covers for glass bottles. TBH, I love how the evenflo's wash up. They look brand new! no worries about scratches and plastics leaching. And inexpensive to boot!
