can someone look at my chart? I have a question..

Obviously I'm new to charting... I browsed through TCOYF and I've watched the tutorials on ff but I feel like I'm forgetting the obvious!!!

Temperature dip could mean the day BEFORE ovulation or the day OF ovulation? I'm confused about the crosshairs I see on other charts. Does the day of the dip possibly mean that's ovulation day? We will BD today regardless, but I just get worried I've missed it. DH has had no sex drive so I'm extremely frustrated.

I know Ovulation is determined after 3 days of increased temps, so the first day of a temp rise considered 1DPO?

Also, if ovulation is today, we can still get preggo today and/or within 24 hrs?

I'm really hoping I didn't miss it again this month.......

Hi, I noticed "charting" in your title and was curious. Have you ever tried a different FAM? I have been using Billings Ovulation Method for the last 6 years with 100% success both with avoiding and trying for pregnancy (got preg in one try). It is much easier than charting your temps and more accurate. http://www.woomb.org/bom/lit/teach/index.html I am not trying to "sell" this method, I just struggled myself with the difficulty tracking temps and wanted something easier. The website takes a while to get through but it explains how it all works in much more detail than other FAM methods. Since I am "older" I was very pleased with the explanation of how your fertility fluctuates from month to month, what a "real" menstruation is vs just breakthrough bleeding and how to recognize when your body is trying to mature an egg without success. Its a great read even if you decide to use your current method. Good luck with your fertility and soon to be conceived little one.

I think everyone is a little but my temp drops the day before ovulation and if you did ovulate yesturday and DTD today you could still get prego. Just try to hang in there. It looks to me that either today or tomorrow will be your day to O!!
