Oh, that is just FANTASTIC!!! And, I love Scrabble (I'm a bit of a word nerd!).

I'm having a really great friend (and amazing artist) paint my belly this summer; I wonder if she'd do two different painting for me to photograph, because I love this idea!

Need to share with DP. Thanks for posting, Mae!

Thanks, Mae. I'm really trying to think positive. I am 12 weeks as of yesterday.

Jessica, congrats on hearing the heartbeat!!!! I'm hoping I'll get to hear one next week or the week after.

The midwife couldn't find this babe's HB for the life of her at 11 weeks... I had to wait till 15 weeks to hear that sweet sound. I'm sure all is a-okay, sweetie!

ETA: she also mentioned that not finding it after 14 weeks is when they'd send for an u/s "just to check on everything." xo

Qbear'smama - I'd be worried and nervous too... although being in an OB practice, I probably would have been sent for an u/s. Still, my OB had a very difficult time finding Caleb's HB at 13w3d. She did eventually find it, but it took long enough that it got pretty nerve-racking. Thinking of you!!!!

AFM - I think... that I just lost some of my plug! While I realize it could mean absolutely nothing, except some expected cervical changes at almost 37 weeks, it was a fun little find in the bathroom here at work.

It pretty much looked like I sneezed a rather large glob of snot onto the TP.

I didn't lose DD's until I had been having irregular contractions for about 20 hours... and it came out in a big chunk. I tried to share it with XH too, yelling for him to come in the bathroom to see it, but he was very, very disinterested (and grossed out)!

eeee, lisko!!! things are happening! i lost my mucus plug a couple weeks before my daughter actually decided she was ready, but still! how exciting!

qbear's mama, just trying to add to the reassurance - we did not find my daughter's heartbeat at 12 weeks via doppler, and she's a very healthy 2.5 year old. this baby HATES the doppler, so every time we can hear the heartbeat for like a second or two, the baby squirms away. i'm 16.5 weeks now, so we can hear that squirmy movement through doppler and i can feel it - but a few weeks ago, we couldn't! it does transmit a tone through the uterus and some babies will do whatever they can to move away from it. before you know it, you'll be hearing it. happily my baby is finally big enough to listen to via fetoscope, because s/he HAAAATES the doppler and is a real PITA to find on there. last prenatal, it took 10 minutes before the midwife finally gave up, saying "if this little guy is able to squirm away from this doppler no matter what, i think we can assume he's pretty healthy." (i refer to him as a he, so my midwife does now too, lol.) with my daughter, i was thankfully not too nervous at the 12 week mark as two friends of mine were farther along than me, and they did not hear the HB till 14-16 weeks - which is apparently not abnormal at all!

no news here.... just wasting time! i smell like a barn and i need to leave the house in 20 minutes AND i have not had breakfast... let's see how quickly i can get my act together

Hi all! Sounds like a happy June so far -- weddings, BFPs, heartbeats, transverse baby...glad I came to check on you ladies!

Also, reading about all of your nesting is making me tired .

I'm holding my one-month-old (!) baby boy and wondering where the time has gone. Those June babies will be here so soon!

Qbear's Mama - I would be a nervous wreck too. I'm sorry you're going through this. Is there a way to sneak in a quick US to calm your fears? I'm sure everything is fine.

Mae - Sorry about the UTI but congrats on the impending wedding! You must be so excited.

Lisko - So exciting! I've stalked my plug through both pregnancies and never saw it.

AFM - I got my first beta results last night...15dpo 332 hcg and progesterone at 37.8. I had another hcg today to make sure they're doubling. I'm not really feeling pregnant, just those super sensitive tingling nipples that feel like they are being dragged through broken glass when my ds nurses. I'm still taking HPTs. And not the cheap ones. I figure after seeing 489 BFNs over the past year I deserve a few spendy pink lines.

Hope everyone has a great weekend!

with over 300 at 15dpo I would have to say... wow!

and progesterone over 30... you must be supplementing right? but yeah wow no wonder your nipples feel like they are being dragged through glass lol.

No, I'm not supplementing....never have. Is that really high?
The only other time I recall ever having progesterone checked was earlier this month on my CD3 fertility bloodwork and it was .7

I'm anxious to get my other hcg tomorrow...I love my midwife, she told me to page her and she'll call in for my results on a saturday for me. Love her.

really high yes but really high is really good!

on cd3 it shouldnt be high at all... post ovulation it should be above 5 and when pregnant it should be above 10 and most like to see it above 15

its not a problem at all, but actually a REALLY good thing that it is in the 30s! By the time you are as far along as me it will be in the hundreds lol... so 30s is good then but yeah, it can go much higher without any problems.

Thanks for the info Mae! I'm glad I have at least one good thing going for me.
I'm patiently waiting for MS to kick in..i always feel better about a pregnancy when I feel like absolute horse crap....

Thanks so much for the reassurance everyone, I really appreciate the encouragement and good thoughts. Lyndzies, we are going back at 14 weeks to try again so I guess if we don't hear it then, it may be time to try something else, like an u/s as finnegan'smom suggested? I thought about getting the NT u/s just to see the heatbeat, but DH and I decided that we didn't want do to do that test, so we decided just to try to be patient. YYYM, I like to think this little one is like yours, rather hang out in the 'back room' than socialize via doppler. In the meantime, we told DD and she was super excited and told everyone at school the next day. It was really nice to see how thrilled she was and now she's always rubbing my belly and asking how big the baby is now. . Also, we went to church this morning and met with the minister who we want to marry us, so we'll be getting around to that someday soon.

Lisko, any update since the appearance of that mucus plug action? So exciting!

Mae, eeee!! you're getting close to being Mrs. Sgt. Sexypants! So exciting! Sorry about your UTIs, I am prone to them so I am sure I'll be guzzling the cranberry soon enough before this kid is born.

Finnegan'smom, I love my midwife, too!

Oh yeah, LZP, can you change my EDD to December 15th? The midwife figured we could move it up given my short cycles. Thanks!!

2 days until I pick up my Sgt. Sexypants at the airport.
1 week until we are married!

Hi Ladies.... given us a good ol' ! We were on the 2nd page!

MaerynPearl - Oh, you must be counting down the hours!

Qbear'smama - I hope that all is okay and you don't need to follow up with anything else at 14 weeks, because you hear a nice healthy gallopy sound!

Nothing exciting happening since the loss of some of my plug. It definitely wasn't the whole thing anyway, because I had that come out when in early labor with DD, and this wasn't near as exciting or gross. I've had some definite increased discharge too... but from my recent 37 week "baby" email, that seems very, very normal.

finnegansmom - for good numbers! How were they on Saturday?

jillc512 - He's a month old already?! I know time is going to fly-by. It seems to be crawling towards my due date... but once he's here, it will be August before I know it and I'll be stalking LZP for labor signs!

AFM - Nothing too exciting going on here. I finally put up a couple more things on Caleb's walls! I put up the vinyl word art this morning (after fretting about it for a few days, as once its up, its up, and can't be redone)... but it turned out very cute! I also finally got up my little ABC project. I bought really stupid velcro-like wall fasteners that didn't hold at all. Being above the changing table, I didn't want them bonking Caleb in the head every day. So we had to improvise and glue/nail them, and now I think they'll hold! I did order the crib set finally... once that is in place, I'll share some pics. Otherwise it just doesn't all come together... (Besides the fact right now we have cardboard with backwards tape on it in the crib to divert the cat from being crib-curious... )

Washing diapers today!!!!

DH & I realized last night we better get a labor and hospital bag packed!

Hope everyone else is doing good!

Hey Ladies!!

finnegansmom- Your numbers from last week sound awesome!! I dont think 37.x is super high for progesterone. Mine was 38.x at 13DPO and hCG was in the 300's as well. Mind you, a week later, progesterone was low at 8.something (that's when I started to supplement!!) but hCG was still rising at a good clip! What were your digits like this weekend?! can't wait for the update.

Mae- one day till DF! and what- 6 till wedding?! awesome.

Lisko15- still looking out for your operation stalk the mucus plug! how excited can we get about something with such a disgusting name? Hoping for you- and yes- get that bag packed! I'm already starting to think about what we should have in ours... and YAY for decorating!! one of my favorite pass-times.

QBear'sMama- ugh. I can understand being nervous, but I think everyone here is right. your little one is just squirming away. our first MW appt they took like 15 min to find it. I think generally they might have just given up and sid next time, but I almost started to hyperventilate and cry, so they kept trying. cornered this little bugger down by the pubic bone by pushing on the uterus from the top.... not comfortable, but hearing the was worth the discomfort. I KNOW you'll hear it at the 14w visit. so glad your DD is so taken with this little one! that's a good sign of what's to come, it could have gone the other way. oh, and I changed your DD for you

jillc, thanks so much for popping in- and I can't believe A is a month old already!!!! WOW time is just passing so quickly. I hope you're feeling great now, and adjusting to life with 3! how are the older DCs doing with him?

YYYM- hope you got out of the house not smelling like a barn, or the animals in it. fetoscope- I want to ask them to use that next time. last night i checked in with the doppler just for fun, but I could tell she didnt like it.
Love that you are getting boy feelings, and can't WAIT to see if you're right!!

AFM, had our baby shower this weekend!!! it was 89 deg, sunny and humid- aka, sweatbox. but, BEAUTIFUL!! my parents had it at their house, and went ALL OUT- they did so much work before hand, their gardens and inside the house looked incredible. (1920s houses require lots of work!) they must have been working on it for months. well, I know they were after talking with my mom. it was just lovely. we got totally spoiled. Got all of the "big" things that we need and want, and TONS of clothes. she better really be a girl, or our little boy will be wearing lots of pink. DH stayed the whole time, which he was initially against, but I think he secretly liked having all this attention lavished on him. "Oh, Mr. LZP you are working so hard! Oooh, carrying all this stuff out to the car, what a good husband and father you are...! Oooh, look how cute you look holding your little neice and nephew!" ha! it was really nice to have him there, and he had a good time. so cute. we didnt get ANY cloth diapering stuff that was on our registry, I guess people are just too freaked out by it. Now I have license to get what we still need, and be finished. nothing better to me than checking things off of a list.

oh, and did I mention the desserts? I think I'm still coming down from my sugar high. key lime pie, 2 kinds of chocolate cake, cheesecake, fruit, and on and on... YUM.

OK, getting back to work now.

Hope you ladies had a great weekend

Hi!
My 17dpo were 750. She didn't test my progesterone again - but now reading that yours dropped to 8, should I have? Argh. Is it normal for progesterone to drop that low? Had you had progesterone issues before?

LZP - your shower sounds wonderful! bummer about not getting any cloth diapering stuff...although I love shopping for diapers.

Mae - what are your wedding plans?

Qbear - How are you feeling?

Packing up the car tonight, heading to my moms house for supper... trying to sleep... going to the airport to pick up DF... driving from there (ohare, in chicago) up to michigan... staying with his family for several days...

wedding is sunday... its just a picnic at the beach that a very awesome pastor who happens to be a veteran offered to do for free... no honeymoon plans as our post-wedding plans are to move 1100 miles away and thats tiring enough for a third tri mama.

That sounds perfect! I got married when I was 25 weeks pregnant with #1. Clearly we were not TTCing when we got pregnant...my nuva ring was sitting the brown paper bag in my fridge as I went to the drugstore to get a HPT. Oppsie. Anyways, we had to sell our condo, plan a wedding and move....it was SO hectic but totally worth it. We would have eventually got married, neither one of us was in a rush, but getting pregnant was just the push we needed I guess.

Good luck!! Take pics!!

Im an idiot. I overdid it. I hurt SO bad.

I tried lifting a box of food I had just packed. Seriously? My SPD is bad enough I cant even carry one BAG of food from the car if it has so much as a can in it... I knew better and did it anyway...

And now I hurt. When it first happened I hurt so bad I thought I was going to get sick to my stomach. I told DF when we go to the airport I will, without a doubt, simply park the car and scoot over to the passenger seat, there is no way I am walking to baggage check to meet him, as much as both he and I know I want to (I hate having to wait for him to get back through the security gates as it is! I want him in my arms as soon as he is off the plane!)

I wish this was the LAST thing to happen today, if it happened at all. I still have a ton of stuff to do.
