Night time potty REtraining...

my son is 4.3yo. he "got off" the diaper at age 2, and at night at age 3. then winter came and he started peeing various times each night. I`m living with my mother now...HER sheets, Her washer, Her light bill... and she wouldn`t sleep thinking that my kid would pee AGAIN
so i talked to my son and we agreed that during winter he could sleep with a diaper. he didn`t like the idea at first but now, of course he loves it! today i told him that we had finished the last diaper and there would be no more. he said that hi liked having diapers at night because that way he could pee without having to get up at night.
but he can go through many nights, completely dry. just like before.

i said it, no more diapers. last night it was fine, peed at around 7am, so it`s ok!
any tips for me to help him through this?
for helping me???

thanks!

Sounds like he doesn't want to get out of a warm, cozy bed to go potty.
I don't know if this would work or not but, maybe get him a little bucket to put beside the bed and he can pee in that without having to completely wake up and go to the bathroom. Just make sure he empties it in the morning.

hhmmm...this reminds me of my grandma when she just couldn´t make it on time to the bathroom, i put a litle bucket beside her bed and it was great. she was going to the bathroom again in no time!

ok, i´ll try this tonight, see how it goes. thanks!
