Ok, nearly serial posting. I have such swiss-cheese brain these days...

LNF I just realized I space on responding to your post. See swiss-chese brain, above. Mercy does look bloated in her first pics - it will be interesting to see what the medical records show. TTTS is an interesting possibility. It would explain a lot. I hope you get some answers, but, as you said, it is at least something you don't have to worry about having happen again.

you know what's sorta fun? going back to the beginning of our DDC and reading what we were talking about back then. We were all just getting our BFPs and talking about how excited and nervous we were and how sick we felt. It's sad, too, because there are some people who ended up leaving our DDC, as well as some people who just flat-out disappeared. But it's so funny to think way back to August.

It is weird to think that it's almost been a year since we got pregnant! Crazy...
A quick note to say: I'm getting more help from DH this evening. Baby and I were away most of the day (and it was an EXHAUSTING day that I hope to never repeat - 4 hours in the car with a 7 week old screaming, 85 degree weather, tons of crowds, and trying to work with my baby along - phew!), but this evening he has played with her, bathed her, done bedtime with me, and is now putting her to sleep. They seem to be enjoying each other more, too, so perhaps I was too hasty thinking their bond was faltering...
I am so grateful for this sweet, lovely, happy little girl! Car seat screaming notwithstanding...
The bad news is: the pediatrician called to go over the hip ultrasound results with me and, yes, she thinks DD does have some minor hip dysplasia after all . It's not bad now but since it's a developmental thing, it sounds like they are going to want to have her in a brace for at least a few months and continue watching it. I am having a hard time with this, even though the braces now are soft and velcro, rather than the awful metal thing I had to wear in the 70s. For now we are double and triple diapering and even that rankles me, which is dumb because it's not that much work and obviously I want her hips to grow properly so she's not in pain all of her life.
Things could be much worse, but I am still feeling sad and kind of in shock that there is a problem at all.
Grr.

Rhi- we're in the same boat for announcements! We have had them for weeks. We have FINALLY stuffed the envelopes, included a card with info for our website, and added thank you's for the people who we hadn't already sent out. They'll go out next week. The announcements are cute and I really do like them, but she already looks so different than she did 2 months ago!

They look a little funky cause I blurred out our last name.
