PP bleeding question

I am 8 day PP. Around day 4-5 my bleeding had super slowed and was moving to the pinkish yellow kind of color. In the last couple days it has gotten dark red again. Is that normal? I have nothing else bothering me, uncomplicated birth, no history of bleeding, 3rd birth, uterus shrunk right back in awesome time.

Should I be worried?

I'm wondering about this, too--the same thing happened (is happening?) to me. The bleeding picked up Saturday and is still going, bright red. Other mamas have told me I just overexerted myself and need to take it easy, so I haven't contacted the MW yet.

Would love to hear what others have to say.

A pickup in bleeding can definitely be your body's way of telling you to slow down. This happened to me and a lot of mama friends!

Mine stopped completely on Day 6 then started again on Day 11, heavier and darker than it had been on Day 1. When I stopped doing too much it stopped again. And by "too much" I mean an hour of light shopping one day and walking 1 whole block the next. That was all it took for me
