Would colostrum work for pink eye?

My 7 y/o DS has pink eye. I have yet to deliver this baby, but can hand express about half an ounce of colostrum from both breasts. Would colostrum work just as well for pink eye or must it be breast milk?

After a little digging I answered my own question, lol.

Quote:
Breastmilk has been used by mothers (probably for many years) to treat infectious conjunctivitis. Secretory IgA is an immunoglobulin, present in colostrum and mature human milk.
