Seriously dry eyelid

What can I do for it? I thought it was fungal, and I was using an anti-fungal and it did not change. Any lotions I have tried do not help. Sometimes I can exfoliate it with my Clarisonic, but it is not intended for eyes, so I hate using it, and it comes right back. My eyelid is red and scaly and looks horrible. My midwife said it is from all the extra estrogen, but didn't have a suggestion what to use on it. Anyone have any recommendations??

I had this with my last pregnancy, but no others, but none of my others, so I am assuming it is pregnancy related, but not sure.

I had something similar and it was (I think) allergy related. Nothing I did made it go away until my doctor gave me some creme called "elidel" (not sure on the spelling). She said it was safe for eyelids- at the time I also had allergic dermatitis or eczema on my legs (which looked similar but not identical) and was using a cortisone type creme which doc didn't recommend for the thin skin of the eyelid or to use on the face at all. The elidel worked wonders.
