this is me too.. i'm almost 25 weeks and have gained 10lbs in the last month - 23-25lbs total so far.. i'm eating better, exercising more than my other pregnancies and i started out weighing less and i am still gaining more and gaining enough to catch up with where i would have been had i not lost the weight pre-pregnancy i think my body must have a plan (for me to weigh a certain amount by the end of this) and i obviously don't have much control over it..

During my first pregnancy I exercised a TON. I've been a total couch potato this pregnancy. My weight gain has been exactly the same in both pregnancies. So I just try to eat well and squeeze in exercise whenever I can and not worry about it.

i gained 9 pounds in the first tri and only ended up gaining 24 lbs total for the whole pregnancy. i ate to relieve the nausea too. is it possible that some women's bodies do all the preparatory stuff that accounts for a lot of the weight like blood volume/fluid/placenta, etc earlier on?

Lotsa good suggestions. Thanks.

I pulled out my maternity clothes and guess what - I'm drowning in them. So I've got to buy a bunch of 2nd trimester clothes, I guess. (What the heck did I do last time?)

Luckily there seem to be a lot of empire waist dresses out there for summer.
