I never saw this thread before and I figured I fit in, so I thought I'd hop on board. I have been coming to MDC for about 4 yrs now. Anyway, I've got 6 kids and two on the way. I am due mid-July, but have an intuition it will be June 26th. So close, yet so far!
Weather's been fairly cloudy, rainy, mostly cool (thank you God!) her in Eastern Wa. I'm not sure how this thread usually plays itself out, so I guess that's all for now.

Welcome Queen of Chaos

Anyone heard from Pixie lately?

Welcome Queen of Chaos! Love the name! Feel free to post along with us!

I'm on cd 17. No positive OPK this cycle. So I'm not sure if I missed it or if I didn't ovulate this cycle. I'm going to keep peeing and dh and I are going to continue with every other day timing for the next week at least. If I keep up this pattern, it may mean that I'm ovulating every other month. Aaargh. I'm trying to stay patient.

Hi all! Still here, still pregnant. 14 and 4 and less sick.

BP is high though. I really hope that changes. I WANT my HB! that and I don't want to be on ANY form of bedrest. It will literally drive me to the point I'll need to be hospitalized....in the psych dept!

July 12th we find out what it is.

Next week, I get to go back to have a BP check. yay.

peaceful_mama: hope your bp is coming down!

I did get my pos OPK so dh and I have been busy for the last 3 days. Hope to keep that going for the next couple. I have a really positive feeling about this month!

I should be cleaning my house. We have C's birthday party today. I made her some gluten free cupcakes and need to frost them.

Off to clean the kitchen!

bumpity bump!

I had my college roommate visit yesterday with her baby. It will probably be her only because she got married late in life, she's older and she was quite sick during the entire thing with elevated BP's. Her dh has 2 others to support as well so finances are an issue. She is Catholic and has 4 siblings. During college she always said she wanted to have a big family: 5+ kids. I have 2 siblings so I laughed at her back them as I only was planning on 2-3 kids. She was laughing at me yesterday when she reminded me of that conversation.

*yawn*

I just finished portfolios for homeschooling and have two evaluations in a half an hour. I always get super resentful about PA's homeschool law this time of year.

I haven't thrown up in 2 weeks! And the babies are super squiggly.

So my inspiration for the week was to clear off a bulletin board of Christmas photo cards (!). And to let everyone start adding things they wanted to do this summer.

So far, I have put up a puzzle from the newspaper that I want to complete each day. My son put up a recipe for horchata that he got from his Spanish teacher that we want to make together.

It's the little things, you know?

Fighting yeast here with my 1 yo nursling.

Today i took my littles to go strawberry picking- this was a first for me and quite fun, a little hard on my back with my 23 lb 10 month old.

I have a list of summer things we want to do as well. Tonight we are going to try to get downtown so we can go for a horse carriage ride and maybe try the farmer's market tomorrow.

I always forget to come searching for the new thread at the beginning of the month. Sure would be handy if the new thread creator would post to the old thread, letting us know about the new thread!

We're finishing up our homeschool year here. It's been raining & raining & raining & raining & raining & raining. For weeks & weeks & weeks & weeks & weeks. I cannot wait for sun.

HERE's a cute recent pic of my 4 youngest shorties. I cannot get enough of that sweet baby's little joyous face. And my 2 yr old makes me laugh, too because he just looks so two. AKA, grumpy. lol

It is just about family nap time around here. YEs! :yawning

Yep. That's about it. Pretty mind blogglingly exciting, eh? :nana

Can I jump in and ask what constitutes a MoM? We have #3 due any day now and, where I live, most people think we are nuts for having more than 2. We've always said we want 4 or 5 or...however many God gives us! Just wondering if, once this little bit makes her debut, this would be a good thread for me to keep up with.
