What has your "baby brain" dumbness made you lose or forget?

So far I've lost or totally forgotten what I did with (just moments after I had it in my hands) since finding out I was pregnant:

1. Our one and only ($25 fee to replace) condo mailbox key! Twice! Luckily we found it....both times.

2. To feed our dogs lunch.....until around 4:30 pm.

3. What I wanted to get from the fridge or upstairs by the time I reached it.

4. What I was saying mid-sentence!

5. To pay our rent money last month! They called me 11 days late and asked "Um...are you going to pay your rent this month?" I got a late fee of $50.

So far I HAVE NOT forgotten to:

1. Take my Progesterone medication the Dr. has me on.

2. To take my Prenatal vitamins each day.

3. To give my husband his multi-vitamin each day.

4. To rub my belly and literally talk to my baby growing inside me....(a pep talk of encouragement) "keep growing and growing and be healthy and strong" and "Momma wants to hold, kiss, nurse, bathe and snuggle you, so you need to keep growing. I'm proud of you! Momma loves you!" as I had a previous miscarriage and everyone says that positive vibes and thoughts are really good! It can't hurt right? The power of positive thinking! I'm really hoping it works this time around!

5. To drink tons of water daily (since I was having dizziness and the RN said that it was dehydration) and to take a nap during the afternoon when I'm really feeling exhausted.

So...even though I occasionally forget something or do something stupid, I'm still enjoying every minute.....every day of my pregnancy so far. Maybe because I've wanted it for so long! It also helps that so far I haven't had a rough time with morning sickness! A bit but not horrible.

Please share your funny and moments of your pregnancy "baby brain".

Why am I at the store?
How did I even get here?
Where are my keys? (8x a day)
Where is my purse? (in the car.. again.)
What was I saying?
Why did I walk into the bathroom? (or any room)
I totally 100% spaced my WIC appointment and I never miss scheduled things!
I forget to put gas in the Jeep constantly.
I forget to bring everything I need with me to buy groceries.
Probably lots more but.. I forget! lol!

He flies out on June 8th... thats a wednesday (for the longest time... I finally know thats a TUESDAY)

*text message* When are you coming to get me?
*reply* Uh... for what?

Took me 5 trips to the store to remember what I went for in the first place.

when I was preggo with #1 I was shopping at Target for my work and when I got to work I realized that I'd forgotten to take the toaster oven I'd bought out from under my cart. Left it in the parking lot. Went back to get it (it was turned in to customer service - thank goodness!!). Later that evening, I was looking for my credit card when I realized that I'd left it at Target when I'd paid. UGH!! Of course if I had realized earlier, I could have gotten it with the toaster. They were already closed, but thank goodness - again! - it was there for me the next day.

where was my brain??

My supervisor also told me a funny story about how she went to make coffee and forgot to put the pot under the drip! oops!

I turned on the bathroom sink and put my sons baseball pants in to soak, I walked away while the sink was filling and forgot about it.....about 15 min later my husband walked back to that bathroom and found the whole bathroom, the hall, and half my boys room under and inch of water

I was in the grocery store heading towards an aisle for something. I passed two aisles and completely forgot what I was looking for.

Oh yeah this is a totally dumb one but I constantly forgot I'm pregnant. Its less so like that now that my stomach is the size of a basketball and I cannot move without grunting. But still I have looked down and been shocked by seeing a huge belly.

What day it is.

Why I was in a room/store.

If I told someone something.

Biggest one, I forgot MWs name in the middle of an appt! I've seen her for over a year! I was looking at her and thinking 'oh god, what is your name?!?!'

My glasses - can't find them anywhere, and have no idea where I put them. This one is particularly frustrating because I really don't have the money to replace them for a couple of weeks, so I'm stuck with uncomfortable contacts or prescription sunglasses .

I lost my cat (again) earlier. I must have gone up and down all four flights of stairs a dozen times with cat treats in hand trying to figure out where he went to.

Then I remembered: he's not here. He's with my friend Alison today, his favorite person in the whole world.

Returned an email for work with a phone call to the person, and then 10 minutes into the conversation she said she'd email me something and I asked, "But, do you have my email address?"...she was like, "didn't you just call me b/c you got the email I sent you this morning?" I said, "oh...yes, I did."
Felt so dumb!!!

I left my iphone on top of my car and drove away. I eventually found it about a mile away in the street, all crushed up from being run over.

Of course, dp had LITERALLY just called right before that happened to tell me he was being layed off, so I undoubtedly was in a daze because of that too.

So what did I do? Immediately drop $200 to replace it. Oh, the guilt. Such a bad day that was.

When I was newly pregnant, I went to Berlin on a girl's weekend.
On the morning we were leaving, I couldn't find my engagement ring or one of my diamond solitaire earrings that were a wedding gift from DH. One earring was on the nightstand.
I convinced myself that someone had come into our room at night! Had security there checking the room key, DH was checking our insurance, it was awful. I cried all the way home!
When I was unpacking I found them in my vanity case!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I still don't know why I did that especially considering I wasn't drinking!

My keys, my ID, and my wallet - all within 2 days! They all turned up shortly, but this is getting really frustrating!

You win the prize for the saddest story. That is a bummer.

Today I put my phone in the refrigerator with my lunch.
