So far I've lost or totally forgotten what I did with (just moments after I had it in my hands) since finding out I was pregnant:
1. Our one and only ($25 fee to replace) condo mailbox key! Twice!
Luckily we found it....both times.
2. To feed our dogs lunch.....until around 4:30 pm.
3. What I wanted to get from the fridge or upstairs by the time I reached it.
4. What I was saying mid-sentence!
5. To pay our rent money last month! They called me 11 days late and asked "Um...are you going to pay your rent this month?" I got a late fee of $50.
So far I HAVE NOT forgotten to:
1. Take my Progesterone medication the Dr. has me on.
2. To take my Prenatal vitamins each day.
3. To give my husband his multi-vitamin each day.
4. To rub my belly and literally talk to my baby growing inside me....(a pep talk of encouragement) "keep growing and growing and be healthy and strong" and "Momma wants to hold, kiss, nurse, bathe and snuggle you, so you need to keep growing. I'm proud of you! Momma loves you!" as I had a previous miscarriage and everyone says that positive vibes and thoughts are really good! It can't hurt right? The power of positive thinking! I'm really hoping it works this time around!
5. To drink tons of water daily (since I was having dizziness and the RN said that it was dehydration) and to take a nap during the afternoon when I'm really feeling exhausted.
So...even though I occasionally forget something or do something stupid, I'm still enjoying every minute.....every day of my pregnancy so far. Maybe because I've wanted it for so long! It also helps that so far I haven't had a rough time with morning sickness! A bit but not horrible.
Please share your funny and
moments of your pregnancy "baby brain".
