I have a default hearing for June 22nd. I am in Europe and will conduct my hearing telephonically. I forgot to bring my divorce paperwork. Would someone please tell me how a default hearing goes? What are the procedures? What can I expect? My ex is getting to keep the house, the vehicle, and all of our belongings. I get to keep my daughter (full custody) -- long story short, he never wanted a child but likes to play dad 3 hrs a week. Now that my little one and I are in Europe for the summer, ex is especially happy not to have to "deal with us." Once the default hearing is over, how much longer does it take to finalize the divorce? Our state of residence is AZ. Thanks in advance! I`m nervous about this, especially since we are doing it over the phone. Please share your experiences. I almost forgot to mention, I did the whole divorce myself as I couldn`t afford an attorney...I don`t know if that makes a difference.
