Babygrey - I have read that you can get false + opk's with clomid if you take them to close to the clomid days. The guideline I've seen is to start testing 5 days after the last clomid dose. I have my fingers crossed for you - I really hope we both O'd this cycle!

I got another +opk this aft & then a negative one this eve. So I'm feeling pretty positive, plus I had lots of really good ewcm last night (sorry for tmi). I'm very curious to see how my temps work out over the next couple of days. I temped for many, many months before ds & never once saw a cycle where I O'd (I didn't temp the cycle we conceived 'cause we were doing lots of u/s monitoring) so it would be neat to see how an actual ovulatory cycle looks (assuming of course I'm about to O like I think I am).

Oh my - I hope the sore nips don't last much longer though. I dread everytime ds wants to nurse right now.

lifeguard~sounds promising!! Hope u got in some good bd

Socal~I think ur right......just hope its not another false +. Thanks for the input!

Holly~Congrats!!!!!!!!

rcr~I think a positive this early is very rare, unless ur O day is wrong.....keep ur hopes up

Tara~I've read somewhere that it can take up to 2 days for hcg to reach blood, and up to 4 days for urine, and that's AFTER implantation. Which of course can be up to 14 days, though typically 7-10. Ur not out yet..............

zwitterion~Sorry you haven't seen ur +++opk yet. Bfing can be a booger on opks. That just soundes so cheesy lol. Hope u see it soon!

I have no clue what's going on with me. I've completely stopped temping and testing since its just confusing me more and more . I think I may just be having an annov cycle, which would be a first. I've Od every cycle since ppaf. Oh well!
Well I haven't tested again yet, going to try to hold out a little longer...
Still having some symptoms though! Congrats on the positives!!!!!
To those that are still 2ww hang in there! It will be our turn soon!

I really need to start temping again... I am not constantly being woken up by my mom, and DS is waiting until 4 am to nurse (a huge improvement), so I really have no excuse not to do it. I was just sick of it - I am approaching year 1 of TTC. If this is not my month, I am going to definitely do it next month.

I am slightly feeling AF come on though... not sure.

Sorry about AF Socal and kikaaaso. :jug

I just noticed that my sig says trying to ttc... double trying, I guess

AF is here. I guess I o'd and had a 6 day lp. I'm hurting that I didn't start the progest. I had a 17 day cycle, mamas.

Eta just found out my re is oot for two wks and I can't get another prescription w/o being seen (I had an appt for when he came back, figuring that'd be around when my AF was due). Guess I'm out next cycle too. Ouch.

ETAA: back to waiting to O. sigh. I always start AF the day after I ask to be moved to tww. Maybe next time I won't asked to be moved. :P

Oh Babygrey - I'm sorry af showed up. Hopefully it will be a "normal" one for you. Maybe the clomid reset your system?!

This morning ds woke up screaming so as I lay there with the stupid thermometer in my mouth dh was prodding me "are you going or what?" Wow - 30sec feels like a long time when the baby is crying - lol. No increase in temp today so it's bd time again tonight. I'm so scared to get my hopes up about this cycle.

I know that feeling. There's nothing worse than laying there with that *@%#$ thermometer in your mouth while your baby is crying and hubby asks dumb questions that you can't answer Especially when you've been temp'ng for however long and he should know dang well what you're doing haha
Good luck!!

This evening when dh came home from work he says to me he's not sure why he didn't go get ds. He didn't even remember prodding me just hearing him cry. Ugh. So weird to hear a baby cry & not feel automatically you should go tend to him.
So if you normally break out before af, and you are in the 2ww and you break out is that a bad sign? Would I still do that if I am preg?
Going to test Fri I think. We leave for vacation Sat morning so I want to try another before we leave.

That sounds exactly like my DH!! Last week, I was temping and the baby woke up and actually walked into our room (he sleeps on a twin mattress on the floor in his own bedroom). I picked him up and sat him in the bed between me and DH until the thermometer beeped. DH was sitting up and looking right at the baby, but never made a move to take him back to bed, so I did. In the morning, I asked DH about it and he has NO memory of any of it!! I think he was asleep the whole time--so weird!

Congrats on all the BFP! I have been following along, but haven't commented for some time. We are still trying, and I am currently in the TWW. I am cautiously optimistic for this cycle

Can you move me to waiting to O

Thanks.

How many of you have regular cycles after your first ppaf? I've just had the first one.Yay! But now wondering whether I can expect to O at the usual time? I am temping, using an ovulation microscope, and opk's, so I supposr I'll have some idea when the time comes!

Congratulations to the bfp's!

thank you. I was secretly hoping we'd both get bfps together. All my crossables are crossed for you this cycle.

random clomid ?- this is going to sound like an exaggeration, but it isn't. I've never, ever bled so much in my life. Did clomid make you have heavy AF? My other theory is that I've been building a lining since I started spotting in Feb that for what ever reason I couldn't shed (I've had very, very light periods since then) and the O from Clomid made me shed it. Woulda been a cozy lining for a babe.

amandasemele- FWIW, I *only* break out when I'm pg. sounds hopeful to me.

RCR- i totally get the not wanting to temp thing. I've only been temping since dec and I'm ready to break my thermom in half. I conceived DD using only the CBEFM- I think if you get peaks that match your CM, it does the job pretty darn well.
ergh bloody OPK's no lines at all this morning so will have to take another later, my cp. is high up and from what i can feel is soft but not sure if it is open, medium or closed because couldn't quite reach properly but will probably check again when i test again. i'm not get any ewcm just creamy cm but could my body gearing up to o, right? i have emailed my PD so just need to see what happens.
waited a few hours and tested again was negative also checked cp. again and the reason i could not feel was because it is quite far back and is at m/h m m state right not sure why i though it hs
ok now i'm going to stop over analysing i'm confusing myself

Good morning everyone : )! I know the feeling with DH being awake, but really asleep. It can be annoying if my 2 yo and 8 mo are both crying and I'm trying to get him to hold the 2 yo........must be nice to sleep that soundly .

I've been a bit crampy yesterday and today, which means af is probably coming.........bbbbbooooooooooooo!!! No symptoms to obsess over either!

Still debating vitex for next cycle............couldn't hurt, right? Anyone know what dosage you start off at off hand? Can I take it the whole cycle? Also, I've never really seen ewcm....maybe one cycle in the 6 years I've charted (minus the 2 yrs I was pg in there lol.) But obviously I was able to conceive with just watery. Would it increase my chances if I did have ewcm? Anyone have suggestions for me to get some more fertile cm???

Daisy420, crampy is a symptom you can obsess over! That can totally be a pg symptom.

I can share my vitex story. I started taking Vitex right after my ppaf came back in dec. It was recommended to me by my nmw, plus, as I'm sure you've found, the web is covered in stories of women who had success w/ it. I started @ 500mg/day, then, when I ran out, I switched to a tincture that was about 800mg daily, tho I played w/ the dose a bit b/c it gave me headaches. They say it takes a few months to build in your system, and after a few months, I started spotting. all. the. time. (here's my chart if you want to see how the Vitex correlates w/ the spotting: http://www.fertilityfriend.com/home/2c383d)

It could be completely incidental, bc I have some secondary IF, but it was suggested to me when I was getting worked up for the spotting that maybe it was the Vitex and that it can be a really powerful herb, which can mean really good things for some women, and really bad things for others. One MW/herbalist I saw said "you'll never get pg on Vitex" I was shocked. I stopped taking it in the middle of april and my spotting started decreasing. Vitex is supposed to help your progesterone level, but I had mine drawn and it was barely measurable it was so low, so it obviously didn't help mine.

So, I don't know. It might have been the Vitex, it might not have been. I wish I hadn't ever taken it, honestly, bc I'll never know if I screwed myself up or if I was screwed up already

Just thought I'd share. I'm a big herbal proponent and a big believer in women being able to research and care for themselves, so I'm not trying to deter you if that's the route you want to go.

For CM, I had the same ? last weekish- I posted a thread on the main board, you can search it, or just go back a few pages- or click my user name and look for more posts by me to find it that way. I'm taking EPO, mucinex, and baby asprin (strong recommend to NOT do that one w/o HCP's suggestion that you really need it). It didn't help me this month. I'm debating adding green tea for this month. There were a lot of suggestions on that thread from others, sorry don't have time to look for it. NAK.

g/l to you.

AFM- Got a cancellation appt w/ my RE's partner for tomorrow a.m. *whew* so, hopefully I get an all-clear for this month. Now, if I can just find a babysitter...
