Riding a Tricycle?

When do kids usually figure out pedaling? I am thinking about getting a small tricycle for my 26 month old to ride this summer. She's pretty coordinated, will she figure it out in the next couple of months?

My ds could pedal a trike by that age.

My DD started being able to pedal her trike around 28-30 months. She might have started younger if she had been tall enough to reach the pedals on her trike.

Also, she has a balance bike and she tends to ride that more.

ds could pedal at around 18 months but he is a really big kid so he was able to reach. He wasn't able to pedal distance like down the block until over 2yo
