Hula hooping. I've noticed a lot of stuff out there in internet-land about it the past year or so, "hoop dancing" instructional DVD's and classes and such. The other day I finally sat down and watched some of the hoop dance youtube videos, and it looks like SO much fun. I really need to do something to get back in shape after DS, and DD and I had a blast all day yesterday doing this.
But it turns out that the cheapie hoops I had bought for us are too small for total beginners like us, and are also reaaaally easy for my nephew to bend and break
. Soooo... I rationalized that the money I will make today working a shift that I had no idea I was scheduled for until yesterday morning, could go toward buying us some better quality ones- since it's money that I didn't know I would be making.
(It's embarrassing, admitting to my rationalizing on a "no-spend" thread, but there it is...
