okay so I am probably just an idiot, but how do I make a signature for myself? and am I allowed to put a link to my blog on there? thanks!!!

No, not an idiot!!!

Here is a signature tutorial by our community manager, abimommy.

The only links allowed in signatures are those that have been paid for. If you go to the Paid Subscriptions page in your UserCP (top left of your screen) you can find further information on how to purchase Signature Advertising/Linking Privileges (scroll down a bit on the page). After your business signature purchase, you can indicate that you are a business subscriber by changing your username to red in your UserCP under Group Memberships.

Some features of a business package include -
Quote:
  • Place advertising and links within your two-line signature
  • Place a 100X100 pixel avatar below your username (no larger than 8 kb and non-animated)
  • PM inbox capacity of up to 250 private messages
  • Post a dedicated promotional thread in the WAHMarket forum to share your products, services and specials. Freely edit, update and “bump” your thread to increase visibility
  • Place dedicated thread in either WAHM Connect or Daily Diaper
  • Sell non-business-related items in the MDC Trading Post for the duration of the subscription
I hope that helped! If not, there are extra details in the FAQ in my signature that might help, too.

Hi,

Any references to one's webpage, free or not, must be paid for with a subscription. Sorry about that! And I should probably go clarify that in my FAQ so thank you.

In regards to signatures...
How can I add more than one smilie?
Hiya! More signature smilies will become available when members have been a member for 60+ days and have accrued 50+ posts. So depending on when you read this, you'll need about 20? more posts. If you click your name and choose view profile, you can see your join date to know when you will hit your 60 days. Supporting Memberships allow for unlimited smilies at any time, so that is an option, as well.

Hope that helps! There are extra details in the FAQ in my signature that might help, too.
